Around 1993 I asked someone at the Library of Congress to establish a certification program for Braillists who use computers. For the next 3 years I suggested the same thing, but to no avail.
I am
asking for comments on Computer Braille Certification. My idea for the last 9
years has been to establish a program that is run by a number of senior Braille
organizations. We will set the standards similar to what the Library of
Congress has for Braille Certification.
